Expos Score 3 in the Bottom of the 7th to Edge the Cards 3-2

Tibbles Pitched 7 Strong innings, gets hit with 3 Comebackers

Updated Sunday June 17, 2018 by Andy Philip.

The Expos manufactured all 3 of their runs in the bottom of the 7th, led by some great pinch running by Ryan 'Pie' Hall, who scored the winning run from 2nd on a grounder to 2B that the Cards almost turned for a game winning double play, but Cooper beat the low throw to first and Hall scampered home in the action.

Expos' hurler Tibbles pitched 7 strong innings for the complete game win, and was hit 3 times by hard shots back up the middle, staying composed enough to throw out all 3 batters at first despite the pain.

Groz pitched 5 strong scoreless innings for the Cards before being relieved.
